Almost Blue..
The beautiful notes of the piano danced around the room as the record player played. The voice of the man was calm. He was singing softly as you absent minded lu danced around the empty ballroom.
Sometimes it got lonely in this huge estate without any of the close friends you had back at home. Without Capitano being around all the time.
But today, you found yourself comforted by the solitude.
You asked the servants to not bother you as you danced to the solemn music. This was your time. And no one could ruin it. For once, you felt content.
You thought about life.
Your past.
Your present.
Your hopeful future.
There's nothing Capitano wouldn't do for you, this led to you picturing your Husband in your mind as you closed your eyes.
Now your eyes are red from crying
He truly was your anchor. The pillar that helped you stand when you felt like throwing in the towel. You looked out into the window, thoughtlessly.
A door opened.
"любимая, Are you not cold?" Your husbands voice cut through the calm atmosphere in the room. You wiped your eyes.
Almost You.
"No i'm.. I'm quite alright. There's no blizzard outside tonight." you noted.
"Yes the weather is perfect tonight." He found himself next to you, looking at your figure sat in front of the window. Your head on your arms that rested on the windowsill.
"..You're perfect." you softly smiled and he thinks he might've just seen an angel.
"I'm far from it, кролик."
You giggled at the nickname. Then you looked up at him, he was offering his hand to you.
Almost Me.
He was always so kind to you. Despite the bloodshed his hands caused, You always found comfort in the way they engulfed your smaller limbs.
"In my eyes, You're perfect, любимый."
He chuckled, "Well then, who am I to negate my love's opinion?"
"It's a fact." You smiled playfully as your nose scrunched. He loved when you did that. Found it adorable.
He smiled. You couldn't see that though.
Standing up, His fingers intertwined with yours. The song that was playing was almost over but he was still determined to spend time with you. Unbeknownst to you, he had been observing your little dance. He found your manner of dancing undisputed.
The way you took your strides and swiftly moved through the space in the room. Your body language said all that your words didn't. Couldn't.
"May I dance with you? You're excellent at it." he complimented.
"You were watching?" A surprised look took over your features.
"Of course I was."
You thought about it for a moment. "Well, it would be rude to refuse you since you asked so nicely," You smiled up at him, "Lead the way."
"Gladly."
